Fr. Richard Hauser, a member of the Society of Jesus, was ordained in 1968. He received his licentiate in Sacred Theology from St. Louis University in 1968 and his doctorate in Religion and Religious Education from the Catholic University of America in 1973. He has been at Creighton University in Omaha, NE since 1972. He is currently professor emeritus of theology, assistant to the President for Mission and associate director of the Master's Program in Christian Spirituality. He has published numerous articles on theology and spirituality and has authored three books: In His Spirit: A Guide to Today’s Spirituality, Moving in the Spirit: Becoming a Contemplative in Action, and Finding God in Troubled Times.
